Man accuses Nigerian soldier of killing his friend and stealing his car

A Nigerian man, Abdullahi Hassan Ali, has accused an unidentified Nigerian soldier of allegedly killing and stealing from his friend, Mohammed (pictured above), who was kind enough to give the soldier a lift in his car. Ali claims the soldier killed his friend, threw his body out of the car and drove away in the car. Possibly a robber in a military uniform. See what Abdullahi posted on his Facebook page after the cut...*graphic pic when you continue...*

I can vividly remember those days when Mohammed was in my office as a student on industrial attachment (IT). He was such a gentle being will high hopes for the future.Although he appeared to be a quite and gentle person, but he is the kind of person that speaks alot when actualy says nothing at all. Moreover,i used to like him because he was a physics student from the same department i graduated in UNIMAID.It is so unfortunate that his life was cut short by a Auto-theft soldier that shot him and got away with his car.
Mohammed, being a generous and gentle soul gave the soldier man a lift in his car,and the soldier man shot him, threw him out of the car and ran away with it. Some good samaritans found Mohammed beside roadway bleeding to death and hurriedly decided to rush him to the nearest hospital, but poor Mohammed never made it to the hospital gate. Mohammed struggled and managed to narrate the unfortunate incident to his helpers before he died. The soldier man was later arrested with the car, and is still under custody. May almighty Allah forgive all his mistakes and grant him Aljannah.Ameen.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island – On November 12th, just three days after the fatal plane crash, the family of Dr. Myles and Pastor Ruth Munroe held a press conference in the ballroom at the Grand Lucayan Hotel.
Press were asked to decline from questioning in light of the difficult loss they have endured.
Giving welcome remarks was Jerome Edmonson. He then introduced the son of Rev. Munroe, Chairo (Myles Jr.) who read a statement surrounded by his family. Later Jamaican minister, Dr Peter Morgan, President of the International Third World Leaders Association gave some words.
“We are not sure how or why, something like this would be allowed to happen to such great individuals, but still, God is in control. The past few days have been the most difficult times for my sister and I, my family and all of those affected by this loss.”
“We are all saddened by this tragic event, but we are comforted and encouraged by the outpouring of love and support from everyone around the country and those around the world at large,” said Munroe.Munroe-1

oyedepo tribute myles munroeMyles and I called ourselves ‘twin brothers’
Myles, my twin brother is gone up to glory
Ruth, his partner in life and death has gone to eternal rest
Faith and I miss you both!
Our moments together on this side of the Jordan were most memorable.
We stayed together on several occasions under the same roof
We lodged in same hotels time and again; we shared the platform together preaching the good news of the Kingdom over the years.
Our friendship of over 24 years was a most enriching and adventurous one,
Our partnership in ministry was also a most profitable and rejuvenating one.
Myles, my twin brother
A bundle of inspiration
A man of spiritual depth and insight
A leader of leaders and teacher of teachers
Ruth, a bundle of joy and divine radiance
Your smiles were ever contagious,
You exhumed gentleness, love and care like a fountain
You were indeed a priceless jewel!
The two of you were swifter than eagles
You literally traversed the globe
As you taught nations the principles of the Kingdom
You were both as strong as the unicorn,
Energetic, untiring, never relenting, purposeful and focused
I could still remember, Myles and I took all the inaugural induction lectures for the pioneer Faculty and Staff of Covenant University in August 2002.
All of Myles’ meetings on our church platform were ever inspiring and impactful.
The Living Faith Church Worldwide really misses you!
Good night Myles, my twin brother!in death

APC's Consensus Presidential Candidate Suffers Set Back

The hope for the emergence of a consensus presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress has dimmed as efforts by leaders of the party from the North to broker a deal failed on Tuesday night.

Only a former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar, who is one of the four aspirants from the region showed up for the meeting which held at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja.

The others – Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, Rabiu Kwankwaso and Sam Nda-Isaiah – were absent from the parley convened by the APC Deputy National Chairman (North), Alhaji Lawali Shuaibu.

Jonathan leading a malfunctioning government –says Tambuwal

The polity was astir with mixed views on President Goodluck Jonathan’s elaborate declaration to seek for re-election. Leaders of the leading main opposition APC have however insisted that the timing was wrong and insensitive, given the killing of 47 students in Potiskum, Yobe State, adding that they will give President Jonathan a thorough electoral beating at the 2015 polls.

Jonathan danced on the grave of dead students, APC insists
In Benin City, the Edo State capital, the national leadership of the APC and governors of the party led by Gov Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State, at a rally, faulted the second term declaration of Jonathan, saying the President danced on the graves of innocent children, who were killed by the Boko Haram sect.
